We cater for every kind of wedding, from an informal get-together with friends and family to a more formal celebration. Whatever you have in mind for your Engagement Party, Hen/Stag, Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding, Day Two celebration or Vows Renewal, we have the spaces and the people to make it a memorable event.

All of our food is freshly made and cooked in-house and is based on the concept of ‘food that’s made to share’.

We want our guests to experience new and exciting flavours from emerging food styles and cultures around the world, where the focus is on the joy of communal and social eating. We are passionate about sourcing the best quality ingredients from within a 50 mile radius of Ranelagh and are committed to using only all-natural, hormone-free products.
Our menus can cover anything from an hors d’oeuvres and cocktail reception to full course dining. Whether it’s an Engagement Party, Hen/Stag, Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding, Day Two celebration or Vows Renewal, we will work with you to create the menu that you want for your occasion.

Our spaces
Our main party spaces are on the 1st floor and consist of 3 main areas: the large Upstairs Lounge, the Glass Room and the Terrace.
Also located on the 1st Floor is the Karaoke Room, our state-of-the-art Karaoke and Multi-Media studio. The Karaoke Room makes your wedding really memorable and a real talking point - what better way for your guests to get to know each other than by belting out a few tunes together!
Conveniently located within the main Upstairs Lounge, it really adds to the uniqueness and fun of your special occasion.
The entire 1st floor can be booked for larger weddings of up to 150 guests.
The Upstairs Lounge
Details The Upstairs Lounge is made up of a number of interlocking areas. The main lounge is designed around the concept of a Hi-Fi Music Lounge.
Capacity for this area is 100 for reception style weddings or 45 for a more formal seated ceremony. Capacity can increase to 150 if the Glass Room and Terrace are added to the booking. There is no room hire cost, but there is a minimum spend for any bookings for the full area.
Features Exclusive private area, 6 x 65” 4K TVs for presentations or screenings. Access to zoned sound system, full private bar, permanent professional DJ Booth & Set-up, option to include the Karaoke Room as part of your bookings.
The Glass Room
Details The Glass Room is located between the Terrace and the Upstairs Lounge and is a great space to use for hosting a cocktail & canapé reception to welcome your guests. It can also be set up as a totally private area for smaller gatherings.
The floor to ceiling windows and doors open out on to the Terrace, which you can combine in a booking to create a larger indoor/outdoor theme to your wedding. Like all our spaces on the 1st floor, the Karaoke Room can be added to your booking.
Capacity 20 seated or 30 for a canapé style event (85 if Terrace space added).
Features Exclusive booking available, 65” 4K TV, day time & night time use, terrace access, Music available via house sound system, access to Karaoke Room.
The Karaoke Room
Details The set up in our Karaoke Room means you get the most technically advanced Karaoke & Multi-Media studio experience available in Dublin. It’s the ultimate add-on to your Engagement Party, Rehearsal Dinner, Hen/Stag party, Wedding, Day Two celebration or Vows Renewal.
The Karaoke Room makes your event memorable and a real talking point - what better way for your guests to get to know each other than by belting out a few tunes together!
Conveniently located within the main Upstairs Lounge, it really adds to the uniqueness and fun of your special occasion.
For really large gatherings, we can connect the Karaoke to run on the screens of the Upstairs Lounge and get all your guests involved!
Capacity 8-10 people.
Features 65″ 4K TV Screen; FANE audio speakers & sub woofer; 2 x AMC iLive wireless microphones; LED lighting system with party mode; fully soundproofed, air conditioning; Singa Pro Karaoke with 100,000 songs.
The Terrace
Details The Terrace at Taphouse is one of the most iconic spaces in Ranelagh. With views across the village, it is the ultimate outdoor party space, right in the heart of the city.
Equipped with a fully retractable roof and heating, the Terrace can be used night and day and any time of the year - whatever the weather!
It can be used to host the Wedding Ceremony or Vows Renewal, as the focus for the welcome canapé reception or a cool annex to be used throughout your Wedding day & night or Day Two celebration. The Terrace can be booked on its own, or in conjunction with one or more of the other spaces.
Capacity 35 Seated | 50 Reception Style.
Features Multiple TVs, day time & night time use, heating, retractable roof, music available via house sound system, access to Karaoke Room.
Mix things up for your
Hen or Stag!
Looking for something unique to mark your Hen or Stag?
Our talented mixologists will teach you how to make 3 hand-crafted cocktails over a 2 hour class where the emphasis is on having fun, as well as some of the best cocktails you’ll ever taste! All in the beautiful surroundings of our brand new Hi-Fi lounge. Once you’re finished making cocktails, you head over to our state-of-the-art Karaoke Room, with access to the largest Karaoke Song Database in the world!
The standard package of a Cocktail Making Class with 3 Cocktails and 1 hour of Karaoke can be enhanced with canapé style food, designed to complement the cocktails you make. This package is also available for larger groups - just speak to one of our team who will be delighted to discuss your requirements with you.

Want to create a Day Two event to remember?
An example of a typical Day Two at Taphouse starts with Champagne & Canapés in the Glass Room, where guests can take in the views across Ranelagh on the Terrace. They move inside to the Upstairs Lounge for some Cocktails & Karaoke. As we move towards evening, guests are treated to reception style dining, choosing from our banqueting menu (or the full à la carte menu if preferred) and then finishing off by hitting the dance floor with a Live DJ playing from our DJ Booth.
